Marblecast Shownotes

Small, shiny, and not suitable for children under five years of age, it's Marblecast! A once a week sketch show from the mind of a teenaged high school Pennsylvanian, who's lost her marbles. She's slowly finding them all over the house and putting them in a small wooden box.

#1 Bumbling Beginnings

Episode one!!!!! YAHOOO!!!! FINALLY!
So this show began as me using it as a sort of audio blog but it ran into forty-five minutes and then I decided to make a series of different characters.

Campmaster Dunn:
The catman story is from my girlscout day camp when I was younger. The leaders used to scare us with the stories and they always warned us about 'catman' getting us. The story is one I modified slightly to fit, but the basis is the same. At my camp there is a chair stump and we were not told the four words. I thought everyone should know the story. To protect the listening audience, the girl's names were changed.

Big Brother:
My friends and I were eating cake one day when we got really sugar hyper and decided to write some conspiacy heories we had floating around. It sounded good when I was sugar high but it's really lame now. We were drinking milk with our cake.

Jippy:
This character is an original, in fact the only character to suvive from the original marblecast. The idea was that Jippy was my ex-imaginary friend that I had grown out of, and Jippy interupted me when I was talking and such. She handled my music on the origina show and this character hated me to no end. I had no time to add some real hate and bitterness today, but it will come out. Listen carefully, I know it's hard to hear her but I'll make it clearer. Music was Time to dance by Panic! at the Disco, you can find some of their other music at music.podshow.com.

Four Conflicting Views:
Okay so I thought it would be fun to see one event from the eyes of four people. I hope I made it fun!
Brittany- EVERY story needs a valley girl side of it, it's just common sense, duh!
Raven- This character is based off of me... except I'm making fun of emos because most of my friends are emo.
Cynthia- Everything is different through the eyes of a child.
Barbara- I thought I'd put in an adult point of view, and barbara just popped into my head.

I'm sorry about the sound quality and I hate editing so although it took a few hours to write and record, it took two minutes to edit.

#2 Party of Pestered People

This is my holidaycast! I wasn't feeling up to a regular episode so I wrote a bunch of stuff about if the characters were real and they worked for me as a sort of officy thing, and now they are talking to each other. I wrote this during a test at shool so dont hate me if it make you want to scratch out your ears in pain... Enjoy! Happy Chrismahannakwanza!

Oh and believe it or not, this episode took six hours to record. I had to record over a five day period. The different parts were all recorded with me stopping the mic, starting, stopping, editing as I went, and adding in audio.

Hey! For an excuse to lateness, everything is explained, I wrote to Sage of Quirky Nomads and she read my answer! Please check out her show, it's fantastic! Her show is pretty good too (just kidding, she made my lousy answer sound poetic.)
